RouteXpert Review
The great Dolomites' round ... you pull together one after the other ... cornering, countless hairpin bends ... pure enjoyment! All these (toll-free) fit in one route ... From the Valparola to the Falzarego, followed by the Giau with a length of 20 km to the Duran Pass which is really close in some places. (The road surface was then in really bad condition in 2016, would be renewed in 2017). Continue to the Staulanzapass with then Passo Valles with a max increase of 15% and further to the Lavazépas.
The Lavazéjoch is a so-called bospas. On both sides it is partly forested so densely that one has the impression that people are driving at night. On the pass itself there is a small pond and hotels with restaurants.
The good road climbs through dense forests and Tyrolean villages up to Lago di Carezza. The water has a bright blue-green color with dense forests in the background.
We continue our way through the Passo Nigra / Nigerpass 20 km, increase max 17% to the Panidersattel / passo Pinei and end with the Gardenapass.
