Route Summary
For the true lovers of motorsport, the Dolomites are a powerful terrain, the many hairpin bends to the mountain tops, the quiet roads along authentic Italian mountain villages and mountain lakes. A variety of passes and beautiful routes through the Dolomites. The roads are good quality and very winding. Nature is impressive and there are plenty of sights. In short: everything that makes motorcycling so fascinating. Freedom and a lot of steering!
During the day you can enjoy the Dolomite passes, the basin of Tesino and the passes of the Lagorai chain. You can explore the Val di Fiemme and the Fassa valley to the top of the heart of the Dolomites Catinaccio, Marmolada and the Sella group. Another interesting area is Val di Cembra with the pyramids of Segonzano. From here you travel through the forest of Paneveggio and arrive at the famous Pale di San Martino. There you can continue on a beautiful route to the Passo di Rollo and Passo di Pellegrino.
From Tenna, via Trento, you can easily get to the western Trentino, which is characterized by the famous mountain ranges of Brenta and Adamello, where on the slopes the most important nature park of the eastern Alps stretches and where beautiful valleys such as Val di Genova and Val di Sole and the famous place Madonna di Campiglio. Another destination that is worthwhile is Valle dei Laghi, a rather unknown enchanting region.

RouteXpert Review
Brenta - Val di Genova - Passo Mendola. Distance 310 km. Driving time about 7 hours
We start the route south around Trento, via the Monte Bondone and continue west towards Tione di Trento.
You will visit Stenico with castle and waterfall. After about 100 km the route goes in a northerly direction. At the town of Carisolo (123km) the route goes left into the Val di Genova. For € 4, - (2017) you can follow the road along the river about 10km to the last parking place (then another 7 km with a bus). You drive through a beautiful wooded valley with rapids, impressive waterfalls, mountain views and you can see a brown bear. (same way back)
The route continues north along the ski resort Madonna di Campiglio (152km)
After about 215 km we start at Passo Mendola. After you have passed the A22 at Ora, the route continues via the Val di Cembra. At Faver (290km) we cross the valley and from Faver you see on the other side the earth pyramids of Segonzano. That's why I went to Tenna for half an hour.
Source of this ride is Hotel da Remo, located on Lake Caldonazzo
Because I did not drive this ride myself but I know the surroundings very well, I dare to give 4 stars without hesitation, while the actual value will certainly be higher.
