Route Summary
Flevoland boring? Well, that is not bad, there is plenty to enjoy here on the bike, read along. Start at Van der Valk in Almere, just through the city and then a nice long road along the IJsselmeer and the Oostvaardersplassen to Lelystad. In Lelystad you can admire the Skutsje Stêd Sleat and the Batavia, POIs have been added to the route. Now just inland to score a pancake at Pannenkoekenrestaurant Holland. Then to Urk, past the famous lighthouse for a delicious, no less famous eel at the fish restaurant De Kaap. Inland to Schokland, perhaps from the engine to visit the round Lighthouse and the old church. Via the other side of Flevoland, along the Drontenmeer and the Veluwemeer you drive through the nice harbor of Zeewolde. Then we are not there yet, because we are still driving through the Horsterwold and the Hulkesteijnse Bos to the modern but cozy harbor in Almere where you can sit in the Veerhuys for dinner.

RouteXpert Review
Discover Flevoland with this route. A carefully made route with some nice sights. The route points have been carefully placed during the review of this route. Only at the end of the route to the port of Almere you see a small difference between the routing of Garmin and TomTom. If you drive in a group then follow the front rider, if you drive alone, you will find a solution on the spot. Never been to Flevoland before? Then this route is definitely recommended! De Batavia
