RouteXpert Review The long road traverses and serves the varied landscapes of the eastern part of Maui, starting with numerous waterfalls that hide in every corner of the very rugged and green terrain of the northeastern part of the island. It then leads to the rugged relief of the coast at Hāna and you will discover beautiful black, red or beige sand beaches. Finally, it also serves the beautiful Pīpīwai Trail and its waterfalls in southeastern Maui.
The marker indicating the start of the Hāna Highway is located at the very beginning of Highway 360, on the Hāna route you will stop at the countless sights and other little secrets hidden along the Hāna Highway.
Be patient and take it easy! First of all, keep in mind that you need to be patient while driving around the Hāna Highway, as many tourists drive very slowly around the bends, or even stop when things get a little tight!
In any case, take some food and drinks with you for the journey.
