Sluizen bij Driel
From Huissen you cycle through the Oude Huissense dike towards Stadsblokken-Meinerswijk In this nature reserve you can enjoy the grazing Konik horses and the Galloway cattle.
It is in particular on the Drielse dijk or somewhat busier. Motorcyclists in particular still want to "grab" a dyke here.
Once on the other side of the Rhine, it is above all an oasis of peace, because large parts are not accessible here for motorized traffic.
Doorwerth Castle is a must, where you can stretch your legs in the castle garden and as a Lunch coffee break this castle is extremely suitable due to its location and restorative facility.
Immediately after the castle you can visit the Stuw van Driel. This complex is freely accessible, you can view the ships being guned here.
If you have more time to spend, then visit the Airborne museum in Oosterbeek, where you can see what happened during Operation Market Garden during the Second World War
