This route collection takes you to all the national parks of Northern England in 4 days. The routes start and end in Newcastle upon Tyne at the DFDS ferry terminal. Extra easy if you come from mainland Europe.

The route not only takes you into the Yorkshire Dales, The North York Moors, North Humberland, the Lake District and the North Pennines, but also takes you to the old towns of Carlisle and York with their old buildings and structures.

Nature and the countryside are sometimes overwhelming and here and there there are also a few surprising mountain passes.

The routes contain advice on places to stay, dining, petrol stations and various POIs such as museums, viewpoints and other attractions.

The author of the routes drove them himself in 2017 and this is based on his own experiences.
