Route Summary
Since the beginning of the 1990s, Promotor has been issuing the so-called TankTasTochten. You understand that the name is still from the GPS-free era, when motorcyclists still searched their way on inland roads with a road book in the tank bag or routerol. The 173 ANWB Promoter TankTasTochten (TTT) were scanned by Henry ten Dam and signed by Leon Stolk in Mapsource and later placed as a Track in a .gpx file. These have been made available with the approval of ANWB Promotor via the website of MrGPS so that everyone can enjoy it. The 1st TTT is from 1992, so the route may be slightly different from the original.
I checked all route points and placed them neatly on the road. Also, if necessary, I have put the start point and end point of the route a bit further apart to avoid navigating directly to the end point and I have added the POI files from the start and end point just like a possible stopping point.
Finally, I created the route for TomTom, Garmin and MyRoute-app Navigation users.
With thanks to Henry, Leon, MrGPS and Promoter.

RouteXpert Review
This last TTT of 2004 starts in Empel, Noord-Brabant, and goes mainly through beautiful narrow roads along the Maas via Berg en Dal to Nijmegen in Gelderland. You continue to follow the loop up to Grave, where you cross the mesh to Nederasselt, this is also the place where you have the possibility to have lunch halfway the route. Via this side of the mesh you go to Mook and Milsbeek. From Milsbeek you go to Groesbeek and then the seven-hills road *. After a visit to the Canadian War Cemetery ** in Groesbeek, set your course to the Waal and continue to follow it to the terminus in Nijmegen, Gelderland.
* The Zevenheuvelweg is known to hikers because of the four-day event, with runners because of the Zevenheuvelenloop, and with more and more cyclists because it is nice to climb. Contrary to what you would expect, it is not seven climbs but it is a combination of four short climbs. Very nice to drive.
** Canadian War Cemetery in Groesbeek is the final resting place for 2619 fallen soldiers, the largest number of Canadians, from the Second World War, located in the Dutch municipality of Berg en Dal. The cemetery is maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. (Source: Wikipedia).
Because I have driven large parts of this route myself, this route gets 4 stars.

Avoid this route in the month of July, because in this month the 4 days of Nijmegen will be walked.
