RouteXpert Review
Road trip 2018 Day 2 of our Roadtrip takes us from Cuxhaven via provincial roads through Germany and Denmark to the seaside town of Sonderby.
At Wischhafen we cross the ferry to Glückstadt. The crossing takes approximately 20 minutes.
After the crossing we drive on roads along the river Stör, occasionally there are parts with a few nice curves.
At Barlohe we turn onto the N77.
In Jagel at RP12 there is a small Italian restaurant Solemia, where you can have a delicious lunch.
At RP18 it is worth stopping for a while, since you have a beautiful view of the bay.
Sonderborg (RP21) is a beautiful town to stop for a while. There are several restaurants and a fort.
The end point for today is the beach camping in the seaside town of Sonderby.
The roads are easy to pass, so no challenging curves or mountains, so only 3 stars.
