RouteXpert Review
You are about to embark on an unforgettable motorcycle tour from Stannersburn to Newcastle! It promises to be a fantastic ride with breathtaking scenery and lots of adventure.
Excited and ready to fire up the engines and hit the road?
You will depart from the small village of Stannersburn, known for its beautiful hilly surroundings.
The first kilometers of the ride take you through the Northumberland National Park, which is a park in the north of England. Established in 1956, the park is 1030 square kilometers in the county of Northumberland. The park extends from the border with Scotland to just south of Hadrian's Wall. It is a beautiful nature reserve with wide views and winding roads.

After a few kilometers you will pass through Bellingham, a historic town in a hilly landscape.
You will still drive through the rolling hills of Northumberland, with views of the rugged coastline and the ruins of castles.
Along the way you pass picturesque villages and impressive castles. An unforgettable ride for motorcycle enthusiasts!
The road wound through the rolling hills of northern England, passing streams and green pastures. The view is breathtaking and the fresh air invigorating.
After about an hour's drive, you'll pass through the scenic town of Barrasford. Passing through dense woodland, extensive grounds that drop rapidly down to the North Tyne and a 13th century castle, the Chipchase grounds boast some of the best natural and historic features the country has to offer.

Chipchase Castle is an old Grade II listed building. A great opportunity to stretch your legs and enjoy the surroundings or to take some nice pictures.
The roads become narrower but still passable and the landscapes change, higher, rougher and more winding, which means that most motorcycles are in their element on this challenging route.

After about 20 kilometers you will pass Cocklaws Tower, a small insignificant border tower. Nothing remains of the castle itself. Although relatively unimportant, in 1403 Cocklaw's Tower was the scene of a famous siege by Henry Hotspur. The tower still existed at the time of writing the description, so around 1440.

Then it's time for lunch and if you want home cooked food in the town of Dinnington or the surrounding areas, The White Swan Inn is recommended. They have a variety of meals at very affordable rates.

After lunch, it's about 30 kilometers to the city of Newcastle, where you can park the bikes at the harbor and get ready to board the ferry.
The journey is almost over, it is an unforgettable experience to ride the motorcycle through these beautiful landscapes.

What is certain is that this trip will remain forever etched in the memories and you will look forward to the next beautiful tour anyway.
CThe beautiful architectural style of houses and walls.

About this region
The points of the compass are an evenly spaced set of horizontal directions (or azimuths) used in navigation and geography. A compass rose is primarily composed of four cardinal directions—north, east, south, and west—each separated by 90 degrees, and secondarily divided by four ordinal (intercardinal) directions—northeast, southeast, southwest, and northwest—each located halfway between two cardinal directions. Some disciplines such as meteorology and navigation further divide the compass with additional azimuths. Within European tradition, a fully defined compass has 32 'points' (and any finer subdivisions are described in fractions of points).Compass points are valuable in that they allow a user to refer to a specific azimuth in a colloquial fashion, without having to compute or remember degrees.
