Roundtrip from Oneux to Bierendorf
Orignal route by Ed Godding RouteXpert
Obergeckler
The route starts next to the E42 so that it is easy to approach from all directions. Then we go towards Polleur. Here we already see a beautiful descent. Down we drive along the river Hoëgne which we cross just before Rainonfosse for a visit to the castle of Franchimont where there is also a nice terrace for a first coffee break. Then the route continues in a southerly direction over some wider roads with beautiful views. On the way at RP 12 there is an opportunity to picnic.
From here we go via a small piece of Luxembourg to Germany about wonderful roads of good quality. The route now moves more to the north in St. Vith to end at the E42 via a large detour over Lake Robertville.
On the way there are so many photo moments that I have not put down a green RP anywhere. Obviously, finding a terrace on the go can not be a problem
