TTT 2007 03 Luik Bastenaken Luik
Published: 16/03/2019
rp16 - Lierneux (Waals gewest)
This TTT has, how could it be otherwise, the start and end points are in Liège and goes over mainly beautiful roads through the Belgian Ardennes to Bastogne (Bastogne) and back to Liège.

Liège-Bastogne-Liège is a cycling classic that has been held since 1892. It is the traditional capstone of the spring classics, the 2007 edition was won by the Italian rider Danilo Di Luca. Just like the cycling race, there are various climbs in this TTT.

Because I have driven large parts of this route myself, this route gets 4 stars.

About this route collection
Ever since the early 90s of the last century, Promotor has been setting out the so-called Tank Bag Tours. You understand that the name still comes from the GPS-free era, when motorcyclists still searched their way on roads with a roadbook in the tank bag or router roll.

You have also seen the Tank Bag Tours of 2007 one by one, from now on as a collection of 2007.

All routes in this collection have been checked and made equal for TomTom, Garmin and MyRoute-app Navigation by a RouteRpert MyRoute-app. The routes follow as much as possible the original route as it was made at the time.

In this collection you visit the following provinces:
 South Holland
 North Holland
 Liège (Belgium)
 Friesland
 Overijssel
 Gelderland
 Limburg
 North Brabant

In 2007, the cycling classic Liège-Bastogne-Liège was driven as a Tank Bag Tour!
