TTT 1996 04 Zuid Limburg en de Voerstreek
Published: 26/01/2019
Vijlen (Limburg)
Bemelen is both the starting point and the end point of this TTT. As quickly you will glide over beautiful small roads through the South Limburg landscape, village after village you leave behind you, until halfway the route in Heijenrath. Here you can enjoy at "De Smockelaer" a Limburg delicacy. Then cross the border to Belgium. You will continue to drive between the Netherlands and Belgium to Voeren / Eijsden to drive back to the terminus in Bemelen.

Because I have driven this route myself, this route gets 5 stars.

Route details:
Plenty of opportunities along the way for something to eat and drink or to take pictures. Halfway the route at:

View route collection The ANWB ProMotor Tank Bag Tours of 1996
About this route collection
Ever since the early 90s of the last century, Promotor has been setting out the so-called Tank Bag Tours. You understand that the name still comes from the GPS-free era, when motorcyclists still searched their way on inland roads with a roadbook in the tank bag or router roll.

You have also seen the Tank Bag Tours of 1996 one by one, from now on also as a collection of 1996.

All routes in this collection have been checked and made the same for TomTom, Garmin and MyRoute-app Navigation by a RouteRpert MyRoute-app. The routes follow as much as possible the original route as it was made at the time.

In this collection you visit the following provinces:
• Friesland
• Gelderland
• Utrecht
• Limburg
• Limburg (Belgium)
• Flevoland
• Overijssel
• South-Holland

Have fun with this collection and while driving one of these routes. Enjoy all the beauty that the Netherlands and Belgium have to offer. Click on “View route” to read the review of the chosen route.
