RouteXpert Review
This route was made by Hochschwarzwald Tourismus. The route starts and ends in Todtnau in the Black Forest, I have chosen Andy's Pfeffermühle as the starting point. After passing Todtmoos you will drive through the rocky valley of the Wehra towards Switzerland. You will arrive in Baselbiet, a picturesque landscape of the Jura, and then in the Swiss Belchen. After a winding descent you go uphill in the direction of the Passwang with a lookout point at 1204 meters altitude.
Then you reach the next mountain pass Schelten, a 15 kilometer long pass with a slope of 12% between the canton of Jura and the canton of Solothurn. From Schelten you descend to Bärenwil and Hägendorf, where the Teufelsgraben is worth a visit. Be sure to make a stopover in Trimbach at restaurant Zur Eisenbahn! After a pleasant break, the route leads you north again to Germany.
