RouteXpert Review
This route criss-crosses the River Seine by using 7 bridges and 3 ferries, all of the crossings are toll free for motorcycles. The route also visits the 1500 year old Yew trees at route point (RP) 24 at La Haye de Routot. There is a good place to stop for lunch at Jumièges RP 33, plenty of parking and benches for your picnic or there are several café/restaurants. The Jumièges Abbey ruins are here and are worthy of a visit. The route travels through thick forests and alongside the mighty River Seine and offers great views along the way before finally returning to Honfleur by crossing the magnificent Pont du Normandie. This is a gentle motorcycle ride and would suit riders of all abilities. As with all routes, this one can be adapted to suit your needs. Once you have chosen a route and added it to your library, you may wish to change the start and finish positions or add extra waypoints, or even reverse or split the route. This is easily done when you have a Gold membership of MyRoute-app and then by using the Gold Toolkit.
After reversing the direction of a route, it is advisable to check that it still accurate, some waypoints may be on dual carriageways or on one way streets which will affect the route.
