The Meuse River meanders through the landscape, with castles and old farmhouses serving as backdrops. Near Broekhuizenvorst and Broekhuizen, you'll experience the village atmosphere and ride along beautiful dikes. After Melderslo and Horst, the route heads towards Sevenum, where the Toverland amusement park is a striking sight. A little later, you reach Deurnese and Mariapeel, a unique raised bog area full of fens and expansive views. Here, time seems to stand still, and you ride through a landscape that still has a primal quality.
In Asten, you'll take a break at Brasserie De Stegen, ideal for a hearty meal or a cup of coffee. The ride continues through Vlierden and Deurne to Stippelberg, where forests, sand drifts, and quiet paths set the tone. The final kilometers lead you back to the banks of the Meuse, where De Bolle Buik in Maashees awaits for a relaxing finish.
