Route Summary
Since the beginning of the 1990s, Promotor has been issuing the so-called TankTasTochten. You understand that the name is still from the GPS-free era, when motorcyclists still searched their way on inland roads with a road book in the tank bag or routerol.

The 173 ANWB Promoter TankTasTochten (TTT) were scanned by Henry ten Dam and signed by Leon Stolk in Mapsource and later placed as a Track in a .gpx file. These have been made available with the approval of ANWB Promotor via the website of MrGPS so that everyone can enjoy it. The 1st TTT is from 1992, so the route may be slightly different from the original.

I checked all route points and placed them neatly on the road. Also, if necessary, I have put the start point and end point of the route a bit further apart to avoid navigating directly to the end point and I have added the POI files from the start and end point just like a possible stopping point.

Finally, I created the route for TomTom, Garmin and MyRoute-app Navigation users.

With thanks to Henry, Leon, MrGPS and Promoter.

RouteXpert Review
This TTT starts in Wassenaar and goes over mainly beautiful roads through the province of South Holland along the bulb fields * from the Netherlands to the end point in Hoogmade.

* A bulb field is a by-product of flower bulb cultivation that attracts numerous foreign tourists in the Netherlands. A bulb field is a field on which bulb crops are grown commercially (Source: Wikipedia).

For several centuries the Bollenstreek has been displaying its colorful splendor in spring. Around Lisse, Hillegom and Noordwijkerhout there are many bulbs in bloom and there is plenty of activity in the region. There are flower shows & corsos **, the bulb fields look like colorful flower carpets. Nice to take pictures of it and of course to tour by.

** The Spring Flora is held every year in February in Lisse, since 1933. The highlight of the tulip season is the Flower Parade of the Bulb Region (penultimate or last Saturday in April). The parade goes through Noordwijk, Voorhout, Sassenheim, Lisse, Hillegom, Bennebroek, Heemstede and Haarlem. On the second Saturday in August, the Flower Parade Rijnsburg will pass through Rijnsburg, Katwijk and Noordwijk like a colorful ribbon. The floats can already be seen on Friday evening in Rijnsburg and on Saturday evening and Sunday on the boulevard in Noordwijk. In April and May, De Keukenhof *** in Lisse attracts countless visitors from home and abroad.

*** The Keukenhof is a flower park northwest of Lisse in South Holland. It attracts around one million visitors from all over the world every year. Every year in the spring, bulbs from companies in the area are exhibited on the 32-hectare park. (Source: Wikipedia).

Because I have not (yet) driven this route myself, this route gets 3 stars.
