TTT 1994 09 Van Zwartsluis naar den Helder
Published: 23/01/2019
Medemblik
This TTT is the 6th of 15 TTT of the years 1994 and 1995 where you travel around the Netherlands in 15 days, so if you want to travel around the Netherlands, this might be a nice collection.

So we continue where the previous TTT stopped, in Zwartsluis. This route is mostly about beautiful roads. We drive towards Kampen, along the Ketelmeer to drive to Enkhuizen via the dike at Lelystad. Then along the IJsselmeer to Medemblik, where at route point 35 (Green) you can take some pictures of the yachts in the local marina and some food or drinks. Until the Afsluitdijk you continue to drive along the IJsselmeer, then via Hippolytushoef along the Amstelmeer through Den Helder. First along Den Helder Airport, then through Den Helder to arrive at the terminus in Huisduinen, where you can enjoy the view over the North Sea.

Because I have not driven this route (yet) myself, this route gets 3 stars.

View route collection The 10 most beautiful car and motorcycle routes in Flevoland
About this route collection
Flevoland, if you say Flevoland, you say reclamation, Flevoland is the youngest and in terms of land area the smallest of the twelve provinces and consists of the Noordoostpolder and the Flevo polder, both created by draining parts of the former Zuiderzee, including the former islands of Urk and Schokland.

But apart from being the smallest of the twelve provinces, Flevoland also has plenty of beautiful roads to explore by car or motorcycle! For this, the MyRoute app RouteXpert has compiled a Top 10 of Car and Motor Routes for you.

All routes in this collection have been checked and made equal for TomTom, Garmin and MyRoute-app Navigation by a RouteRpert MyRoute-app.

If you think so, I have a very nice route that should certainly not be missing from this collection, send it to:
email: routexpert@myrouteapp.com
Subject: New Route for the Top 10 collection Province of Flevoland compiled by Hans van de Ven.

The route will then be reviewed and then added to the Top 10. To make the Top 10 also the Top 10, 1 route will have to disappear from the Top 10, you can indicate this when submitting the new route.

Have fun with this collection and while driving one of these routes. Enjoy all the beauty that the Netherlands and in particular the province of Flevoland has to offer. Click on “View route” to read the review of the chosen route.

I would like to hear your findings about the route (s).

View route collection The ANWB ProMotor Tank Bag Tours of 1994
About this route collection
Ever since the early 90s of the last century, Promotor has been setting out the so-called Tank Bag Tours. You understand that the name still comes from the GPS-free era, when motorcyclists still searched their way on inland roads with a roadbook in the tank bag or router roll.

You have also seen the Tank Bag Tours of 1994 one by one, from now on also as a 1994 collection.
All routes in this collection have been checked and made the same for TomTom, Garmin and MyRoute-app Navigation by a RouteRpert MyRoute-app. The routes follow as much as possible the original route as it was made at the time.

In this collection you visit the following provinces:
• Gelderland
• Overijssel
• Drenthe
• Lower Saxony (Germany)
• Groningen
• Friesland
• Flevoland
• North Holland
• Utrecht
• South-Holland

With the TankTas Tours of 1994 & 1995 you will travel throughout the Netherlands! In this year you are going from Nulde to Maasland

Have fun with this collection and while driving one of these routes. Enjoy all the beauty that the Netherlands and Germany has to offer. Click on “View route” to read the review of the chosen route.
