TTT 2003 05 Weerribben
Published: 27/02/2019
De Weerribben
This TTT starts in Ens at Museumrestaurant Schokland * and crosses mainly beautiful roads around Meppel and Hoogeveen through Steenwijk and the Weerribben to the terminus in Kuinre.
* Schokland is a former island in the Zuiderzee. Since the draining of the Noordoostpolder in 1942, Schokland has been part of the mainland of the present-day Dutch province of Flevoland. Because of the archaeological richness and history, the area was placed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1995. (Source: Wikipedia).

Because I have not driven this route (yet) myself, this route gets 3 stars.

About this route collection
Ever since the early 90s of the last century, Promotor has been setting out the so-called Tank Bag Tours. You understand that the name still comes from the GPS-free era, when motorcyclists still searched their way on roads with a roadbook in the tank bag or router roll.

You have also seen the Tank Bag Tours of 2003 one by one, from now on also as a collection of 2003.

All routes in this collection have been checked and made equal for TomTom, Garmin and MyRoute-app Navigation by a RouteRpert MyRoute-app. The routes follow as much as possible the original route as it was made at the time.

In this collection you visit the following provinces / National Park:
 South Holland
 Utrecht
 Gelderland
 Overijssel
 North Holland
 North Brabant
 Antwerp (Belgium)
 Flevoland
 Drenthe
 De Hoge Veluwe National Park
 Limburg
 Limburg (Belgium)
 North Rhine Westphalia
