Zandhoekweg, Wissenkerke
This TTT starts in Goes and goes over mainly beautiful roads over Zuid-Beveland *, Walcheren **, where you can visit a cheese farm on the way, & Noord-Beveland *** to the final destination in Biezelinge.
* South Beveland is the eastern part of Central Zeeland. It is a peninsula and region in the middle of the province of Zeeland and lies between the Oosterschelde and the Westerschelde. (Source: Wikipedia).

** Walcheren is a region and peninsula in the west of the Dutch province of Zeeland and consists of the three municipalities Middelburg, Veere and Vlissingen. Walcheren is surrounded by the North Sea, the Westerschelde, the Veerse Meer and the reclaimed Sloe. (Source: Wikipedia).

*** Noord-Beveland is a former island and also a municipality and region in the Dutch province of Zeeland. The island is connected to the mainland by three dams and a bridge. (Source: Wikipedia).

Because I have driven large parts of this route myself, this route gets 4 stars.

About this region
Zeeland (, Dutch: [ˈzeːlɑnt] (listen); Zeelandic: Zeêland [ˈzɪə̯lɑnt]; historical English exonym Zealand) is the westernmost and least populous province of the Netherlands. The province, located in the south-west of the country, consists of a number of islands and peninsulas (hence its name, meaning "Sealand") and a strip bordering Belgium. Its capital is Middelburg. Its area is about 2,930 square kilometres (1,130 sq mi), of which almost 1,140 square kilometres (440 sq mi) is water, and it has a population of about 380,000. Large parts of Zeeland are below sea level. The last great flooding of the area was in 1953. Tourism is an important economic activity. In the summer, its beaches make it a popular destination for tourists, especially German tourists. In some areas, the population can be two to four times higher during the high summer season. The coat of arms of Zeeland shows a lion half-emerged from water, and the text luctor et emergo (Latin for "I struggle and emerge"). The country of New Zealand was named after Zeeland after it was sighted by Dutch explorer Abel Tasman.

Zeeland, if you say Zeeland, you say flood disaster, Zeeland bridge, Neeltje Jans, who doesn't know it? But not only this, Zeeland has the mussel parties, the Watersnoodmuseum, the Delta Works and much more. A day at the beach or visiting a historic city and even spotting seals is possible in Zeeland.

But you can't just eat mussels and spot seals in Zeeland, how about discovering Zeeland by car or motorcycle? For this, the MyRoute app RouteXpert has compiled a Top 10 of Car and Motor Routes for you.

All routes in this collection have been checked and made the same for TomTom, Garmin and MyRoute-app Navigation by a RouteRpert MyRoute-app.

If you think so, I have a very nice route that should certainly not be missing from this collection, send it to:
email: routexpert@myrouteapp.com
Subject: New Route for the Top 10 collection Province of Zeeland composed by Hans van de Ven.

The route will then be reviewed and then added to the Top 10. To make the Top 10 also the Top 10, 1 route will have to disappear from the Top 10, you can indicate this when submitting the new route.

Have fun with this collection and while driving one of these routes. Enjoy all the beauty that the Netherlands and in particular the province of Zeeland has to offer. Click on “View route” to read the review of the chosen route.

I would like to hear your findings about the route (s).
