This day we leave Ankara and drive a short drive to Corum. In Ankara there is still the possibility to visit the Altin Park, the largest recreational area in Ankara with its 640 thousand square meters campus. The park has been selected as the park of the year of the Mediterranean countries. 85 percent of the Park consists of plants, trees, meadows and a pond. You will also find various buildings and squares. It is a unique campus where entertainment, sightseeing, sports and fairground events take place.

You will find a science center, exhibition and conference center, schools, cafes and restaurants there. Musical and illuminated water shows are held regularly in the evenings. There are playgrounds, an ice rink and you can rent rowing boats or pedal boats.
In the park is the most beautiful Chinese restaurant in Ankara with its beautiful garden and a beautiful view of the lake.

Before we leave the city it is advisable to buy something to drink and eat at one of the supermarkets. The route today has few opportunities to stop for a drink or something to eat, apart from a lunch stop. There are a number of gas stations along the route, sometimes with a small shop.

At Pursaklar we leave the main road D.180 to drive a short stretch on a country road along the Çubuk Stream, this river is part of the Çubuk-1 dam, a concrete gravity dam 12 km north of the center of Ankara and was built to control flooding and provide the city with drinking water.

We turn back on the highway D.180 and drive past the airport of Ankara north to Çubuk, you can follow this road until Eşmedere, however we take a different route through the mountains, just after Çubuk we leave the highway to go via Mutlu and Şemsettin to Eşmedere to drive. This road is a nice winding road through the mountains with beautiful panoramas. Take into account less good roads, sometimes unpaved and with slow traffic.

At Tünuy we take the highway D-765 towards Cankiri. After about 20 we turn left on the D-180, this highway runs along the mountains and has beautiful panoramas. A relaxed ride to our lunch stop at restaurant Seyirtepe Sosyal Tesisleri. For this we have to leave the highway briefly and drive up the mountain via an unpaved road. This is well worth it as the view from the terrace is breathtaking and simple yet traditional dishes are served.

After lunch it is still about a 45 minute drive to Çorum, the end point of this day. You can spend the night in Hotel Mavi.
