There are no scheduled stops for fuel, food, or drinks. Whenever you have the opportunity, stop at one of the points marked with a POI. Along the way, there are several small villages with restaurants and cafes.

Day 6 we drive through three beautiful nature parks;
1. Saja-Besaya Natural Park; a nature park in Cantabria, Spain. Beech and oak forests of the Saja-Besaya Natural Park stretch along the northern slopes of the Cantabrian Mountains; an important nature reserve teeming with deer, roe deer, and golden eagles. Two important rivers, the Carrión and Pisuerga, originate in these mountains.
2. Fuentes Carrionas and Fuente Cobre Natural Park; In the most remote and inaccessible border of the province of Palencia stands a spectacular, and almost unknown, mountain range. The peaks and ridges, modeled on the hard, austere mountain limestone, rise to over 2,500 meters and form a unique relief of fantastic needles, impressive cliffs, rugged cantilevers, and deep valleys.
3. Parque natural de la Montana de Riano y Mampodre; The Montaña de Riaño y Mampodre Regional Park, recognized as the Picos de Europa Regional Park since October 2019, is a protected natural area in the northeastern corner of the province of León, the autonomous community of Castile and León, Spain.
Besides the beautiful winding roads, this route also offers stunning panoramic views and a few beautiful azure lakes. There are numerous viewpoints along the way where you can stop to enjoy the view.
A number of passes are indicated with waypoints;
Port of El Portillón
Puerto de Palombera
Puerto de Piedrasluengas
Collado de Carmona
Port of Las Portillas
Puerto de San Glorio
Puerto de Piedrasluengas
Mirador del Zorro
