Route Summary
Promotor has been organizing the so-called Tank Bag Tours since the early 1990s. The name, of course, stems from the pre-GPS era, when motorcyclists still navigated back roads with a road book in their tank bag or route roll.

The 173 ANWB Promotor TankTasTochten (TTT) were scanned by Henry ten Dam and mapped into Mapsource by Leon Stolk, later placed as a track in a .gpx file. These have been made available on the MrGPS website with the approval of ANWB Promotor for everyone to enjoy. The first TTT was created in 1992, so the route may differ slightly from the original.

RouteXpert Review
This TTT starts in Den Bosch, and the end point is in Den Bosch. Almost the entire route you drive as close to the mesh as possible, so many dike roads! At Macharen you say goodbye to the mesh to drive via Herpen to Ravenstein. At Neerloon you are already along the meuse, until the possible stop at route point 44.
Via the ferry "Megen-Appeltern", you cross the loop to drive around the water sport area "De Gouden Ham" to Maasbommel. Via Alphen, Heerewaarden, Rossum, Kerkdriel & Hedel you come back to Den Bosch in the final destination.

Because I have not driven this route (yet) myself, this route gets 3 stars.

Route details:
Start and end point Parking at the Brabanthallen.
Route point 44, Possible stop at the "Bierhuis de Drie Sterren" in Ravenstein.
