RouteXpert Review
This route starts in the beautiful town of Castellane in the south of France in the Alpes de Haute Provence. Castellane is a small tourist town that you pass through if you follow the Napoleon route towards the Cote d 'Azur. The many cozy restaurants and shops make this place a super holiday destination. From Castellane you are in no time in the fairly famous Gorges du Verdon. However, this time we go the other way and we drive a route through two other very spectacular gorges. I have driven this route myself a number of times and will never get bored. The Gorges de Daluis and the Gorges du Cians. Both of these gaps are characterized by the red color of the rock, which makes you feel like you are almost in America. Hence the nickname '' Colorado route ''.

Halfway along the route is the winter sports town of Valberg where even in the summer most bars and restaurants are open. Ideal to use as a break place!
