This is the 39th in a series of 43 Endangered ANWB routes. These have been published in the Promotors between April 2015 and September 2016.
My 39th review of a route that I did not make myself and did not drive (yet). I checked all route points and placed them neatly on the road. I have also set the starting point and end point of the route a bit further apart to avoid navigating directly to the end point.
Finally, I made the route the same for TomTom, Garmin and MyRoute-app Navigation users.

Onderweg.
Pliny uses the name first, in the year 75, in his 'Natural History'. In the 12th century the old name was gradually replaced by the new name: Campania, or de Kempen. Only in the name Tessenderlo (municipality between Herentals and Hasselt) and in some street names the old name still lives on. (Source: Promoter No. 05-2015).
Because I have not (yet) driven this route myself, I have rated this route with 3 stars!
