RouteXpert Review
On day 11 we leave Bulgaria and drive to Turkey. This day we drive a beautiful route through a large nature park. Along the route there are not many places of interest and opportunities to stop for lunch so it is advisable to bring some food and drink with you.

We drive from Burgas to Sozopol where we visit the "Late Antique Fortress Accra", this is the ruin of a fortress on a headland, from here you have a beautiful view of the Black Sea. In the center of Sozopol there are several shops to buy food and drinks for the road.

We drive along the coast to Ravadinovo where we stop to visit Ravadinovo Castle.
The castle "In love with the wind" is the childhood dream of Georgi Kostadinov Tumpalov, he is the architect, designer and developer of this beautiful castle. It is a dream come true with a lot of love and help from family and workers from the area.!
The style of the castle is enchanting it is a castle as they only exist in fairy tales. It was built entirely from 20,000 tons of stone, specially quarried from the Strandzha Mountains.
The metamorphosed limestone has been used almost everywhere, such as in the fence, the artificial lake, walls and towers, the chapel and the cellar. The rock contains traces of micro diamonds, causing the castle to change color, in the morning it has shades of pink, during the day it turns white and during the full moon it sparkles.
What makes this castle unique, however, is the fact that the shape of the castle symbolizes trust, love and dedication in its construction and development.

We continue on a beautiful winding road to Strandzha Nature Park, the largest protected area in Bulgaria at 1,161 square kilometers in the Strandzha Mountains which borders Turkey in the extreme southeastern corner of the country. The Natural Park was established on January 25, 1995 to protect ecosystems and biodiversity of European importance, as well as the traditional cultural, historical and folkloric heritage of the region. The highest peak is 710 meters high

The next stop is planned in Kırrekenli. The places of interest in Kirklaarli are numerous. It is architecturally rich, especially with beautiful monuments from the Ottoman era. Cedit Ali Pasha Mosque, Hizirbey Mosque, Kadi Mosque, Sokollu Mehmet Pasha Mosque and Beyazit Mosque are some of them, in which you can observe various features of Turkish architecture.
There is also a Turkish bath in the town from 1683. One of the most important historical elements is the Hızırbey complex which consists of the mosque of the same name, the hammam (bathhouse) and the Arasta bazaar. The Hızırbey Mosque is located in the center of the city, is built of stone and has a minaret. In 1824 it was renovated by Yusuf Pasha van Aydost. Later, the current prayer place and garden walls of the mosque were built around it.
The hammam is built in Ottoman style and is located next to the Arasta. The hammam has two entrances: one for men and one for women. According to an inscription in the women's section, it was renovated by Hacı Hüseyin Ağa between 1683 and 1704. The outer walls of the bathhouse are built of rough sandstone. The Arasta is built in a T-shape and has gate-shaped walls. She was renovated in 1704.
In Kirklaarli you can also enjoy a traditional meal in one of the many restaurants.

After our visit to Kirklaarli we drive to the Camping Ömür near Edirne, the end point of this day. Optionally, you can also spend the night in one of the many hotels in the center of Edirne
