Scotland Travel; 9 Days Singletrack RoadsDag 9, Fort William Fort Hopefully you have slept as well as we do and you can enjoy the breakfast in the conservatory, with the birds busy fouragend by one of the feeding places. You can leave your sleeping stuff and only bring some you need one day because in about 7 hours (6 if you cut a piece) we are back here again. We drive away at the B & B and turn left. If you did not drive directly to the B & B yesterday after the Neptunes Stairs you will recognize the beginning of the next part. We drive past Loch Eil and after about 20 minutes you reach RP5, here you can turn right and leave the engine on the P , climb up the hill and look out over the iconic stone arch bridge of Harry Potter, The Jacobite Steam Train. It is a climb, but definitely worth it. Meandering along the banks of various loch and foothills, with beautiful views we descend to the Southwest and especially the clouds that change shape every second are fascinating. After an hour or two steering we arrive at the first ferry of the day and because of direct location on the Atlantic, it can be quite a bit on board here. I stayed on the bike, haha. When we get off the boat, it's time for something to eat, a so-called topcase lunch. There is a shop to buy some food, but also fish stalls etc there at the harbor. After this delicious stop we continue winding the inland of Isle of Mull. After a while we come back to the coast, and continue our way to RP24. There you have the choice to turn left and cut an hour, or follow the road and complete the journey. Single Tracks on MullRP27 is again a ferry, and a bit further on at RP33 we get one more, and then we are on the last stretch to FW. Good food in the city, and then to bed. Long, beautiful day and sleep will not be difficult, I think so. Tomorrow we go to Moffat, our last stopover and we sleep in an old country house
