Route Summary The starting and ending point was our base camp Motorcamping de Hei in Siebengewald.
You drive through beautiful wooded areas, over dikes and through the Veluwezoom nature park.
There are planned stops along the way to drink and/or eat something. For enthusiasts, a museum visit is possible in Arnhem or a visit to a castle with estate.

RouteXpert Review Along the way you will pass several nice villages where you can stop for a short break.
You drive over the Rijnbandijk along the Neder-Rijn, this is a beautiful winding route. You take the ferry to Wageningen. From Wageningen we drive to Hotel van der Valk Arnhem where you can have lunch.
The route continues inland to National Park de Veluwezoom, enthusiasts can visit the Dutch Open Air Museum, the ride through the park is a beautiful route with many bends and height differences. There are several small parking places along this route, where you can stop to enjoy the view.
Please note that the park is very busy on weekends, there are many cyclists, cars and motorcyclists visiting this park. Please be considerate of each other and mind your speed.
At Paviljoen De Posbank there is a parking lot and restaurant. Within walking distance is the Posbank lookout point. Here you have a beautiful view over the heath.
As we leave the park we drive past the estate and castle Middachten, which is privately owned but open to visitors. If you like castles and castle gardens this is definitely worth a visit.
The tour continues via Doetinchem through Germany and North Limburg back to the campsite in Siebengewald.
