America is pre-eminently a country to explore on a motorcycle. So there are many travel organizations that offer organized trips, but the charm is also to map out your own routes and start driving on your own.
Good motorbike rental companies can be found throughout the country and the bikes are often of the latest model and well maintained.
We drive on the beautiful roads in the states of Nashville and North Carolina and this area is characterized by the beautiful idyllic landscape with provincial two-lane roads that wind through the landscape with many curves, you can visit beautiful towns, villages and places of interest.
Be careful though, because the roads are sometimes of very poor quality and hardly or not lit up in the dark.
For each route there is a more detailed description in the review.
The route has been made the same for TomTom, Garmin and MyRoute-app Navigation users.

Tip; Before you begin the journey, make sure to take one or two days to enjoy Nashville, this city has a vibrant music and entertainment scene spread across a variety of genres and is known as the country's capital.
If you cross America then of course on a Harley and after we have picked up the bikes at Eagle Rider in Nashville we drive south via the Natchez State Parkway. The Natchez State Parkway (RP4) follows the historic "Old Natchez Trace", a historic forest trail in the United States that extends approximately 440 miles from Nashville, Tennessee, to Natchez, Mississippi, which connects the Cumberland, Tennessee and Mississippi rivers .
After about 40 kilometers we take the New Highway 7 and drive via Columbia and Petersburg to Lynchburg (RP11) to visit the famous Jack Daniel's distillery (RP12) and museum. Upon arrival in Lynchburg we will first have lunch in one of the many restaurants on the Main Street.
After the tour at Jack Daniel's we continue through the typical Tennessee landscape via Winchester and Jasper to our final destination in Chattanooga, where we spend the night in the famous Chattanooga Choo Choo hotel.
There is much to experience in Chattanooga, this city was named by the New York Times as one of the "Top 45 places to go" in the world. And it's no wonder. Nestled among the mountains of Southeastern Tennessee, along the beautiful Tennessee River, Chattanooga is one of the most breathtaking cities in America. A world of outdoor adventure awaits here, great restaurants, live events, art and world-class attractions.
So you can choose to plan one or two extra nights.
This route is a nice start to get used to the heavy Harley engines and the traffic in America. The route itself is not particularly interesting but it is immediately blown away with the beautiful green landscape and the characteristic villages that you pass along the way.
This route is worth 4 **** stars.
