The legendary Polish bus line 666 (better known as the Highway to Hel) runs a route from the south to the north of Poland to take holidaymakers to the Baltic Sea coast. The bus line starts in the historic city of Krakow and then travels to the tip of the Hel Peninsula in approximately 13 hours. Along the way, the bus stops in major Polish cities and passes through various popular seaside resorts on the peninsula:

For years, the route was a huge internet and tourist hit due to the wordplay: bus 666 (the number of the beast) with the final destination Hell (which sounds like hell in English). Following protests from conservative Christian groups, the route was renamed line 669 by the local carrier in 2023. However, FlixBus has revived the iconic line 666 as a daily summer service as a marketing stunt.

Analogous to the famous Route 66 through the USA, this has led to a tourist route for motorcycles or cars. This Highway to Hell consists of 5 stages.
