But despite the fact that this is a return route, even this one will still make you chuckle.
After all, beyond the delightful curves in the run-up, you can add the famous and highly acclaimed Schwardwaldhochstrasse to your palmares!
After this highlight, we then look for the - also notorious - German motorways to return home faster.
The route is and will remain a return route and will require some stamina from you. After all, it concerns a route of approximately 650 kilometers, and including breaks, it will take you about 10 hours.
It is therefore best to take sufficient rest along the way, which may not be a problem via the recommended rest points.

Schwarzwald (rp3)
The route starts at Hotel 'Schiff am Schluchsee' to quickly dive into the Black Forest with its wonderfully winding roads via the Naturpark Südschwarzwald and the tourist Titisee. Not that you will literally 'shave high peaks' here, but there are still wonderful bends and slopes waiting for you in the beautiful Black Forest, and certainly between route points 3 and 7. A wonderful 120 kilometers of pure fun on excellent asphalt. A large part of these 120 kilometers are by the way 'green' Michelin roads, and then you probably already know enough ...
After a short break at route point 6, you will approach the famous '500' or the lyrically sung about Schwarzwaldhochstrasse. Is that a great job? Yes, you must have ridden them once, bucket list material and also 'green' by the way. But there are still some caveats to make.
The Schwarzwaldhochstrasse is famous and you will soon see why. The views over and through the Black Forest are nothing but excellent, just like the course. Sometimes a billiard cloth is not even that tight. But that's exactly what squeezes him. Because it is such a beautiful, open, wide, excellently constructed road, many feel they are too rich here and feel untouchable. With the associated high speeds and capers…. Sometimes they are not only a danger to the more calm motorist, they also lure the 'Deutsche Polizei' who takes harsh action against offenders here. And although the many speed limits sometimes raise questions, their reason for existence can be found somewhere. We suspect somewhere in the selection of untouchables….
The '500' runs to Baden-Baden. In view of the crowds there, we have planned a short break (rp9) just after this big city.
From now on the lanes will be bigger, wider and they will run slightly flatter. You have now completed the cornering.
You still cross the Rhine at route point 11 and from route point 12 you drive through the Palatinate Forest, which, together with the Vosges, is a UNESCO heritage.
Before entering the motorway, a short break is planned at Pirmasens (rp13). A short break and possibly also a vestimentary adjustment to the motorway ride can take place here.
At route point 14 you have just passed the German-Belgian border and you can make the start to the last 140 kilometers that will take you back to Tessenderlo, the place of departure of this 9-day route collection.
This route is and will remain a return route in which less pleasant highway kilometers are hidden. This slightly reduces the score, but the route is still worth at least its four stars. The particularly nice 120 kilometers after the start and the subsequent 50 bucket list kilometers of the Schwarzwaldhochstrasse ensure that the first 200 kilometers are converted into pure relaxing fun, also thanks to the excellent German asphalt. That makes the ride considerably easier. And the fact that, after the fundrive, you can immediately start with highway kilometers to complete the journey, of course, also makes up for a lot. Nevertheless, this is a ride that requires endurance. And also the necessary attention on the high-speed motorways. Therefore, take seriously the many resting points and then this route will undoubtedly contribute to the hopefully unforgettable experience that this route collection has brought you.
