RouteXpert Review
The Jadranska Magistrale is a beautiful coastal route in Croatia. The road runs from the border with Slovenia via Rijeka, Zadar, Split and Dubrovnik to the border with Montenegro. We drove the Jadranska Magistrale in 2018 from south to north, roughly from Dubrovnik to Pasjak. This route is the most beautiful part of the Jadranska Magistrale. There is a lot in it that can match the Amalfi coast in terms of curve spectacle, only much, much quieter and no touristy towns. The most beautiful part is between route point 27 and 49, please note, it can be quite windy there and then the road is closed to campers, trucks, cars with trailers and motorcycles. It is and remains a coastal route, there are also less beautiful parts in it because they are under construction in Croatia. The route has been carefully made and the same for TomTom, Garmin and MyRoute-app Navigation. For information about the colored route points, see the disclaimer at the bottom of this page.
