Route Summary
Dolomites a powerful terrain, the many hairpin bends to the mountain tops, the quiet roads along authentic Italian mountain villages and mountain lakes. A variety of passes and beautiful routes through the Dolomites. The roads are good quality and very winding. Nature is impressive and there are plenty of sights. In short: everything that makes motorcycling so fascinating. Freedom and a lot of steering!
During the day you can enjoy the Dolomite passes, the basin of Tesino and the passes of the Lagorai chain. You can explore the Val di Fiemme and the Fassa valley to the top of the heart of the Dolomites Catinaccio, Marmolada and the Sella group. Another interesting area is Val di Cembra with the pyramids of Segonzano. From here you travel through the forest of Paneveggio and arrive at the famous Pale di San Martino. There you can continue on a beautiful route to the Passo di Rollo and Passo di Pellegrino.
From Tenna, via Trento, you can easily get to the western Trentino, which is characterized by the famous mountain ranges of Brenta and Adamello, where on the slopes the most important nature park of the eastern Alps stretches and where beautiful valleys such as Val di Genova and Val di Sole and the famous place Madonna di Campiglio. Another destination that is worthwhile is Valle dei Laghi, a rather unknown enchanting region.

RouteXpert Review
Little Dolomites Distance 309 km. Driving time about 5.5 hours.
The word small is relative, most of today's passes are still above 2000m.
First the Manghen Pass with 2047m from south to north, partly narrow road and descent starts
with curves in short.
Then Passo Lavaze (1808m) and Passo Costalunga (1745m). There you can also take a look at the Karersee (98km), a clear blue-green lake.
Via Canazei (123km) the route goes along the Marmolada, a mountain with glacier with the highest peak 3342m.
After the lake Lago di Fedaia, the Fedaiapas (2057m) follows. In Caprile (150km) the route continues in a southerly direction with even more passes: Passo di Valles (2033m), Passo Rollo (1970m), Passo Gobbera (989m) and Passo Brocon (1616m). After all those passes we take Strigno a straight road (Ss47) to Tenna
Source of this ride is Hotel da Remo, located on Lake Caldonazzo
Because I did not drive this ride myself but I know the surroundings very well, I dare to give 4 stars without hesitation, while the actual value will certainly be higher.
