Route details:
- Winter closure: Passo di Tremalzo, Passo di Maniva, Coletto delle Crocette, Giogo della Bala, Passo di Croce Domini, Passo del Vivione and Passo di Foppa are closed from November to April / May depending on snowfall.
- Alternative routes: the winding climb from Valvestino to the mountain village of Magasa. From Capovalle an alternative route to Lago d´ Idro. Then from Bagolino over the Passo di Maniva, Coletto delle Crocette, Giogo della Bala to Passo di Croce Domini. From Edolo via Passo di Foppa and the Monte Padrio mountain road
- Ideal months: Late spring to fall. Avoid August due to Italian holiday period.
- Evaring: Narrow roads and tight hairpin bends.
- Driving pleasure: Tremosine, Valvestino, from Bagolino to Passo di Croce Domini, Passo del Vivione
- Landscape: Lake Garda, Lago d´Idro, Passo di Croce Domini, Passo del Vivione, Monte Padrio mountain road
