Ranch Road 336 WP20
This route is mainly very twisty passing over large hills and between not many gas stations. This roller coaster ride will no doubt blow you away. The road is not heavily traveled, but beware as sharp turns have certainly taken many motorcyclist down. Also, although the surface is mostly in very good condition, always watch for loose gravel, deer and slow moving locals heading back to their ranches ...
The Three Sisters route starts in Medina, Texas, located 63 miles (101 km) North West of San Antonio. The Three Sisters comprise of Ranch Road 335, Ranch Road 336, and Ranch Road 337 all of them two-lane roads with some stretches of bumpy road. They are known throughout Texas and riders come from near and far to enjoy them. This route is full of twisties through Texas, so twisty that the Three Sisters are often referred to as the "Three Twisted Sisters".
This is a complicated mix of terrain changes and every sort of curve and bend put one after the other. Challenging and if taken at sensible speeds a pleasure to ride.
The return route to Medina is taken on different roads.
First stopping at the Lone Star Motorcycle Museum to see the classics that Allan Johncock has managed to collect. $7 for adult entry (WP25)
Texas Highway 39 hugs the Upper Guadalupe River for 35 miles as you head towards Ingram following it’s twists and turns. On arrival in Ingram you might be surprised to see not only Easter Island Statues but also a 2/3 size Stonehenge by the side of the road (WP44)
The final stretch from Kerrville to Medina is along the Medina Highway, Texas Rt 16. More twists and turns with constant undulation changes.
All in all a fulfilling 3 stars for pure riding pleasure alone

Stonehenge II WP44

The Lone Star Motorcycle Museum WP25
