RouteXpert Review
A very nice route partly along the coast and about small passes. Many beautiful historic villages and towns. Bunratty Castle and Folk Park (RP12) is worth a visit, this is the most complete and authentic castle in Ireland. The impressive Folk park has more than 30 buildings in a 'lively' village and a rural environment.
On the way, definitely stop in the medieval town of Limerick. King Johns Castle (RP15) is located in the heart of the medieval town of Limerick and in the center are many cozy pubs and nice shops.
Connor Pass (RP25) is winding one-lane tarmac road (not recommended during bad weather) considered one of the most beautiful passes in Ireland leads you to Dingle (RP27).
The town of Dingle is perhaps one of the most attractive places on the peninsula. It lies on the bay and is surrounded by hills. Green Street, full of small fashion and jewelry stores, is not far from the main street with intimate, cozy pubs.
From Dingle you drive along the coast to Killarney, a small town on Lower Lake with plenty of hotels and restaurants
