RouteXpert Review
As you will have noticed from the previous ride, most roads in Albania are not that good, but there is a beautiful nature opposite. So be careful but also have fun.
As mentioned, the roads are not of high quality, as a motorcyclist you can suffer from this, also something to take into account!
The main road runs from north to south. This road is also the only road that is in good condition. The other main roads are decent, but don't expect roads that meet European standards. The roads in mountain areas are very winding, often unlit and often very steep. You will hardly encounter crash barriers on these roads, something to take into account!
The traffic rules are also something to take into account, maximum permitted blood alcohol level is 0.1 permille! Speeds: 40 km/h within built-up areas, 80 km/h outside the built-up area. 90 km/h on motorways and 110 km/h on motorways.

Once you have passed the border with Greece, the quiet roads, stunning views and beautiful nature continue to dominate the picture.
If you want to drive this route in 2 days, you could spend the night in Arta, in the 4 * Arta Palace hotel.

Alternate driving on Continuing along the water and through the interior, you cross the Gulf of Corinth, on your way to Nafplio, located on Peloponnese, the largest peninsula of Greece, located south of the Greek mainland. It is separated from it by the Gulf of Corinth and the Gulf of Saronic.
Once on the peninsula, you keep following the coastal road for about 50 km before diving back into the interior. Here, too, the roads are not of the quality you may be used to, so be careful!
Once you have arrived at the end point of this route, in the port town of Navplio, located on the Gulf of Argolís, you can enjoy the delicious Greek food and enjoy the routes to come.

About this region
The Peloponnese () or Peloponnesus (; Greek: Πελοπόννησος, romanized: Pelopónnēsos, IPA: [peloˈponisos]) is a peninsula and geographic region in southern Greece. It is connected to the central part of the country by the Isthmus of Corinth land bridge which separates the Gulf of Corinth from the Saronic Gulf. During the late Middle Ages and the Ottoman era, the peninsula was known as the Morea (Byzantine Greek: Μωρέας), a name still in colloquial use in its demotic form (Greek: Μωριάς).
The peninsula is divided among three administrative regions: most belongs to the Peloponnese region, with smaller parts belonging to the West Greece and Attica regions.
