Marienthal: The idyllic place is a real gem. Red clinkered facades, several pretty shops, a church, a hotel - if you are looking for peace, you will find it here guaranteed.
Anholt: One of the most beautiful castles in the Münsterland. His gardens swim like islands on the water.
Gendringen: The Dutch fries are a must!
Raesfeld: The tower of the moated castle tapering upwards in three stages went down in history as a "frozen trumpet thrust".
Stage Barlo - Raesfeld: brisk stage, good surface, little traffic.

I have chosen a different starting place closer to the Dutch border, at Daddy's Bikertreff. This route can be driven both from the Netherlands and Germany in one day and contains a combination of culture and beautiful driving routes.

At route point 12, the routes in the TomTom and HERE maps deviate from each other. Immediately after route point 12, turn right to avoid unnecessary driving.
