Lake Carezza
To start with the 1,989 M high Passo Rolle. Personally I think this is a great pass to drive because it is much quieter than, for example, the more famous Pordoi pass.
We continue our route and arrive at the town of Alleghe on the lake of the same name. Perfect for taking a little break. Then we drive towards the 2,057 M high Passo di Fedaia. This pass lies at the foot of the highest mountain of the Dolomites, namely the 3,342 M high Marmolada. The reservoir on the pass height provides a breathtaking view.
From here we continue to the famous town of Canazei. Ideal as a lunch break due to the many restaurants and bars.
The next pass on the route is the 1,745 M high Passo Costalunga. On this pass you drive along the small lake of Carezza where you absolutely must stop. The last pass on this route is the 1,808 M high Passo Lavaze. From here it goes back to Bellamonte. Guaranteed lots of steering pleasure on this route.
