Please note that there are some tough bends, climbs and descents, so riding experience is required and it is not suitable for novice riders.
The first stop is at the Top Mountain Motorcycle Museum and restaurant, where you can visit the museum, eat and drink, buy souvenirs, enjoy the view and buy your ticket for the Timmelsjoch (Passo Rombo) (€14 for motorcycle and rider), you will also receive a ticket and sticker.
The Timmelsjoch is a beautiful pass to drive on, with good road conditions and stunning views. There are several attractions along the way (see the link for more information).
The next pass is the Jaufen Pass (Passo Giovo), another challenging, winding road through beautiful scenery. It's truly fantastic to drive here. Just be mindful of other drivers, as the roads are narrow and not every bend is easy to navigate. Take your time and stop occasionally to enjoy the view.
The next pass is the Penser Joch (Passo di Pennes) and from Bolzano we take the Mendel Pass (Passo della Mendola), yes it gets boring but again a series of bends through the beautiful Italian mountains, on the way we stop in Mendola.
We continue our journey to our final destination, Ponte di Legno, via the Brezer Joch (Forcella di Brez) and Passo del Tonale, where we briefly stop for a photo. This road runs partly alongside the fast-flowing Torrente Vermigliana River.
Our final destination is Hotel Garni Pregnà. It's a well-maintained hotel with a cozy bar and a good breakfast. Motorcycles can be parked in the garage for a fee. Dinner isn't served, but there are restaurants within walking distance.
