RouteXpert Review
Route, text and photos of MRA Goldmember André ter Schegget. All route points were checked and the route was equalized for Garmin and TT. All this beauty got 5 stars from me.

Route 12/15 of a three-week round trip through the west of America, from Williams to Las Vegas.

Departure from the hotel via Interstate 40 in a westerly direction. Part of the day is marked by Route 66. We make sure that we have KZKE Route 66 radio (Good time oldies) on the road to get in the right mood.
On Interstate 40 we take exit 139 to Crookton Rd / Historic Route 66. Via Crookton road we drive to Seligman RP 5. Seligman exudes the atmosphere of the old Route 66. you see gas stations, motels and especially a lot of old cars.

Via Route 66 we continue to Kingman. On the way we pass the Hackberry General Store RP 7, for the lovers of Route 66 worth a stop. In Kingman we follow Route 66 to RP 9, the Route 66 Museum.
Opposite the museum you will find the Locomotive Park and diagonally opposite it. D'z Route 66 Dinner and Origidiner in the atmosphere of the heyday of famous Route 66.

From Kingman we drive via HWY 93 towards Las Vegas. On the way we make a stop at the famous Hoover Dam RP 11. At the entrance of the Strip (Las Vegas BLVD) we find at RP 15 the Las Vegas Welcome Sign (parking on the right side of the road at the huge Harley Davidson dealer ). The endpoint for today has been reached. Time to immerse yourself in 'Sin City'

Tip: Many people stay in Las Vegas for only 1 day. That's too bad. Las Vegas has a lot to offer, even if you do not like gambling. So be sure to consider staying longer. An additional advantage: Las Vegas is relatively cheap. Especially if you have planned your stay in such a way that you stay there on weekdays.
